Fortnite Concept Royale returns for Fortnitemares in 2022
Fortnite Concept Royale is back, and applicants are now invited to apply in advance of October’s Halloween season.
Fortnite Concept Royale Epic Games is an ongoing “contest” in which Epic Games seeks out the Fortnite creator community. Concept Royale is a contest that encourages Epic Games fans to submit their concepts to Epic Games to be included in future in-game outfits. Fortnitemares are the focus of this time.
Concept Royale confirms Fortnitemares 2022
Fortnitemares will be held again on Halloween 2022. Fortnite’s annual event features terrifying new questlines and in-game events, as well as scarily good cosmetic items and addictive LTMs. We can be confident that the event will continue in 2022, as Fortnitemares is the theme for the new Concept Royale.
Epic Games is asking for Halloween-themed designs for their current bout of Concept Royale. However, they haven’t provided any more details. There’s no way to know if there will be a theme, but it will tie in with the Fortnite storyline. Fortnitemares 2021 was dominated by The Cube Queen. This feeds into the Kevin the Cube storyline and features Cube Monsters from the Horde Rush LTM. There was also an Item Shop crossover with Universal Monsters that featured well-known characters such as Frankenstein’s Monster or the Bride of Frankenstein.
The Concept Royale’s last event took place in 2021. Two of the winners’ wintery designs appeared at the Fortnite Item Shop on December 20, 2021.
How to submit to Concept Royale
Concept Royale requires that participants be at least 13 years old to submit their designs. However, it is easy to enter if you meet this requirement. Just upload your designs to Twitter or Instagram, and use the hashtag #ConceptRoyaleContest2022. Two winners will be selected to have their designs featured on the Fortnite Item Shop in October 2022. They will also receive $2,500.
