Ghostwire: Tokyo: How To Use Emotes

Ghostwire Tokyo isn’t the first game you’ll think of when it comes to games with emotes. But, it quite surprisingly has them, including one that’s a pre-order bonus. They work in an odd way.

Ghostwriter: Tokyo Emotes can only be used in the game’s photo mode. Ghostwire is a first-person game. Therefore, emoting on ancient Japanese spirits would require immersion.

Simply pause the game to enable photo mode. To use the emote, you will need to first enter selfie mode (triangle for DualSense), then select your emote (square for DualSense), and then preview it (square for DualSense).

You can unlock more emotes by playing the game, completing side content and finding collectables. There are many emotes that you can unlock, and although they’re not essential, they’re still very fun to use in their own unique way.
