‘Zelda: Ocarina Of Time’ Remake Includes Incredible Co-Op Mode
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time has been widely regarded as one of the most iconic video games (if not the best depending on who you are talking to). It was the ‘s most iconic title, and many years later, it is still cherished by fans. That’s Navi, however.
This Zelda classic was already remade over a decade ago (writing that has just made me exponentially older) with Ocarina of Time 3D on the Nintendo 3DS. This version has many great features, such as the ability to equip more items and the addition of a “Boss Challenge.” It’s not the shiny, beautiful release most gamers would expect. However, fans are always there to help. One talented dev has been working on the remake of our dreams using Unreal Engine 4.
Do you feel like you are experiencing deja vu? You don’t have to worry, and we wrote about it last month . There’s a new development that will change everything. It’s not perfect, but it is a game-changer. DSOGaming reported that CryZENx’s unique work-in-progress project includes fully functional co-op multiplayer. You can currently only play this mode in Kokiri Forest until you beat Gohma. However, it seems to work very well. Check out the video below.
You can get the game from CryZENx’s Discord Server ( see the link). It’s still not complete, but it’s progressing nicely. DSOGaming also points out that this is the first time we have ever been able to Ocarina of Time in Co-op. This includes all the PC ports. Stay tuned for more updates.
