Hunter X Hunter Creator Yoshihiro Togashi is Twitter’s Most Followed Manga Artist
Hunter creator Yoshihiro Togashi has been tweeting panels, suggesting that the sensational series will soon be back from hiatus. He has quickly become Twitter’s most popular mangaka in a short time, surpassing My Hero Academia‘s Kohei Horishi, who had 2.4 million followers at the publication.
A mysterious Twitter account named “Fu Jian Yi Bo” (Yoshihiro Togashi) tweeted on May 24, 2022. It included the text “4 more chapters” and an image of a corner of an in-progress manga panel. A spokesperson for Shueisha Weekly Shonen Jump confirmed that this was indeed Togashi’s official Twitter account. Togashi’s Twitter account gained millions of followers within a matter of days. Each subsequent Hunter panel teaser has received hundreds and thousands of likes every hour. Hunter fans are thrilled to see Togashi doing well and eager to learn more about Gon and his friends and the dark happenings on the Dark Continent.
Although it’s challenging to know the details of Togashi Hunter teasers, the most recent photo shows a “12”, written in sharpie at the corner of a webpage. Togashi initially tweeted that he would be creating 10 chapters. However, he has exceeded his goal and is now whipping up more Hunter than he expected.
Hunter was published in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1998. It has been on hiatus for the past few years because of health issues Togashi has had to deal with. Before the break, the manga’s most recent chapter was published in November 2018. Hunter has sparked multiple gamings.
