ROME CONSOLE COMMANDS & CHEATS IMPERATOR

Imperator Rome allows you to set lofty goals, such as conquering the entire world as Rome or toppling one of its giants when playing with a smaller country. Sometimes, victory doesn’t come easily. Having console commands or cheats handy can be a great help if the unexpected happens.

There are many things that could stop your plans from coming to fruition, whether they involve painting your country’s map with the country’s colors or just getting by without becoming part of a larger empire. You might be surprised by a neighbor or a poke in the back from an old ally. These are all situations where the Imperator: Rome console commands, and cheats, could prove very useful.

Originally accessible by pressing a single button, Imperator Rome’s console commands or cheats require an additional step to activate.

You can run the Steam version by right-clicking on the game in the library and selecting Properties. You’ll find a dialog box under the Launch Options section in the General tab. You can add “-debug_mode” without quotes to the General tab and the console will be brought up in-game by pressing the tilde key ().

This will disable achievements and prevent you from using ironman on multiplayer matches.

When entering commands or cheats for the Imperator Rome console, remember to remove brackets. The IDs are indicated in the purple text you see when hovering over the map.
