Call Of Duty Black Ops 2 has been one of Xbox’s top-selling games
Call of Duty is still one of the best-selling franchises, even though it’s been around for two decades. This holds true, especially on Xbox.
A recent update has improved matchmaking to the point that it should allow you to locate a game within seconds. Though the plague is still a problem.
It’s no wonder that the classic Call of Duty titles have seen an increase in sales. It’s true, I bought two of those classic CoDs, Black Ops, and Black Ops II. They were not only on sale digitally, but also the only classic CoDs I did not own.
Call of Duty Black Ops II 2012 is currently in the top 50 of the Xbox Marketplace’s digital sales in the US as well as the UK. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 2009 is not far behind. Both games beat out Halo: The Master Chief Collection and other titles like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Skyrim Hogwarts Legacy, etc.
It’s wonderful that classic games are still loved, despite the fact they’re often more enjoyable than the latest entries. Hackers and hackers are unfortunately still an issue with newer games.
You have less than two weeks left to get a great deal on some of the best Call of Duty classics on Xbox. Get in quick and start racking up those killstreaks.
It’s almost confirmed in recent Call of Duty News that DLC and progress will transfer over to Modern Warfare II (2022). It would be the first time that progress carried over to a sequel.
Activision is yet to officially announce Call of Duty Modern Warfare III 2023, but we hope that all the details will be released in the next few weeks.
