Zelda Tears of the Kingdom creates VTOL aircraft that have retractable landing gear
Tears of the Kingdom has been available for a while now, and Legend of Zelda players have enjoyed exploring the beautiful plains of Hyrule.
Many players are devoted to creating mods that can provide Link with weapons or allow him to send Ganondorf an insult. has attracted many people to the idea of creating interesting contraptions with an assortment of fusible items.
The cool inventions that these Hylian engineers are responsible for have been able to do everything, from the drive across cavern ceilings to emitting beautiful music. One of the most interesting builds that these highly-skilled engineers have produced is an airplane capable of landing with no Koroks scattered.
Are you able to land safely your Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom airborne builds?
Reddit user manufacturerok8154 created the flying machine and shared clips to r/HyruleEngineering. These videos show that the unique feature of this flying machine is the experimental landing gear. It allows the craft to land and take off vertically.
The engineer said in that he wanted to make a working landing gear that could go up and down without switching the vehicle. He also added that the design had to be lean so that it could descend safely.
ManufacturerOk8154 posted an update about their development of the prototype. It showed that the aircraft can land now without any additional supports, which would take the pressure off the landing gear.
The next item on their list was “actual forward motion.” They added: “I have already got a prototype that works, but I’ve had to take out the beams because they were too heavy. If anyone has any tips for optimizing the use of items or devices to make it work, I would appreciate them.
Users have also contributed some ideas. For example, Jogswyer1, a user who has been building their own vehicles for the game, suggested using railings as a way to reduce weight.
ManufacturerOk8154 appears to be planning on testing a metal version with the engines located further forward, hoping that this will make the craft more durable without losing its delicate balance.
