Bethesda’s execs recently spoke about the variety of sidequests and stories available in Starfield. They described it as an “adventure within adventure”

Starfield is the largest game Bethesda ever created. Each planet’s map reportedly measures thousands of times bigger than The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim.

The main story may be sufficient for many, but when compared to Starfields Galaxy is surprisingly small. The real meat will be the side content and exploration, according to Bethesda.

In a Developer Interview, Jamie Mallory of Starfield was asked about the content that is included in the game as well as The factions, which we will encounter and interact with on our journey.

Mallory called the number of faction quests “astonishing”. She said that each is “like embarking on a great adventure within an epic adventure where you can influence the story with every decision you make.”

The players will have to search for these quests themselves. However, they will be guided at some stage during the story.

Mallory has also hinted at a main golden path storyline, which suggests that Starfield is one of Bethesda’s few games that does not feature multiple endings and that players are likely to arrive at the exact same destination throughout their adventure by taking various routes.

It’s not confirmed, but given that previous Bethesda games, with the exception of Skyrim all featured a multiple-choice end, it is more likely Starfield would follow suit. The site content is a separate thing, and the factions will not be present in the story except for the odd mission or mention.

Starfield is a game that will have its players spoiled for choice when it comes to choices. This game will take you thousands of hours to complete, especially if your goal is to explore the galaxy.

Starfield is launching exclusively on Xbox Series X/S & PC, on the 6th of September this year.
