PlayStation Plus September 2023 free games: A huge potential for subscribers
It’s still a few weeks before the PlayStation Plus September 2023 free games are released, but there is a healthy amount of cautious optimism surrounding this next set.
2023 is proving to be a difficult year, with many ups and downsides. epic trilogies and gorgeous PS5 exclusives have been achieved, but there were also some mistakes.
For example, August’s games were not well received by the vast majority of gamers. Subscribers have access to PGA Tour 2K23 Dreams and Death’s Door. Although I’d say that’s an excellent lineup, especially Death’s Door’s indie gem – but you can’t please everyone.
Why are we so excited about September? As you are probably aware, Xbox is planning to release Starfield on 6 September. You’d expect PlayStation to at least try to compete with this massive RPG, which will be released on day one for the Game Pass rival service.
There are other options. It’s worth considering that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 releases in October. This could lead to Marvel’s Spider-Man or Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales being added to PlayStation Plus Essentials for September.
This could be the last month before PlayStation releases a major game like The Ghost Of Tsushima. This is not Starfield but it is a major move for PlayStation users who are hearing about how great Bethesda RPGs are from Xbox friends. Whatever you do, PS Plus members will be looking for an open-world title to keep them entertained while they wait to get Starfield. Ghost Of Tsushima or Marvel’s Spider-Man could fit the bill.
We’ve got a few weeks left before we know for certain what Sony will be releasing in September. You can play The Death of the Door until then. The game is quite honestly very slap.
