Animal Crossing has to be one of the wholesome video games of all time. You might not have noticed the bizarre black market which developed around New Horizons’ cat villager Raymond. Those were dark times.

Five sets will be released, according to YouTube and exabrickslegogo_. These sets are quite inexpensive compared to the large, expensive LEGO sets, such as the Greingotts Wizarding Bank Collector’s Edition. However, they may be small.

A $19.99 set has 164 pieces. The lowest price (apparently $14.99) will have 170 pieces. A 233-piece kit for $29.99 is also expected, as well as a 389-piece set for $39.99 and a 535-piece set for $74.99.

We don’t yet know the exact contents of the set, but we’re told that the minifigures will be unique and have specially molded faces, not the standard LEGO heads. It’s fair to say that I can imagine what would happen if you squished Tom Nook’s and Isabelle’s faces on human heads.

Exabrickslegogo_, an Instagram leaker, claims the sets will be released in March 2024. This would perfectly coincide with the fourth anniversary of Animal Crossing New Horizons. LEGO and Nintendo have not confirmed these rumors, so for the time being, take them lightly.
