Elden Ring Convergence is a free update that adds an enormous amount of content
Elden Ring’s first major expansion has yet to be released by FromSoftware, despite it being announced back at the beginning of the year.
Elden ring: Shadow of the Erdtree has been teased since February. But we still have a lot of waiting to do before we get the chance to play. It’s unlikely that FromSoftware will release it at random. There is a way to get more Elden Ring.
A brand new free update is now available for the Elden Ring: The Convergencemod. It’s packed full of even more content.
Convergence is a massive mod that completely overhauls base games. It adds dozens of weapons, and hundreds of new spells to the game, and revamps areas and maps. There are also new bosses, enemies, and improved graphics. This is one of the best mods that I have ever seen.
Version 1.3 has been released. It contains over 100 fixes for bugs and introduces an entirely new boss, the Godskin Matriarch.
The patch notes are available here. But beware, there is a lot of information to read. You can expect many fixes, tweaks, new enemies, new maps, and weapons. There are also dozens of spell improvements. The best Elden Ringmod has just gotten better. The Shadow Of The Erdtree is a huge deal at this point.
In related news from FromSoftware, recently teased additional official expansions following The Shadow of Eritrea. It’s not surprising given the success of Elden Ring. It wouldn’t hurt to hire modders that put in so much effort into Convergence.
