In 2024, Fallout will return in a wild new expansion
Fallout 5 will not be included in the Fallout 5 series.
Bethesda executive Todd Howard has previously said that fallout 5 will not be released until quite some time. The developer is expected to begin development on the next game in the Fallout series after The Elder Scrolls VI. Starfield will follow later this year.
This may be disappointing news for some fans. However, the majority are happy with their previous Fallout games, particularly since these titles have been regularly updated to include brand-new mods as well as entirely original quests, and even expansions.
You may find it interesting to know that Fallout is going to be its own extension for the tabletop game Magic: The Gathering.
As part of the Magic The Gathering’s Universes Beyond extension, Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic series will be clashing with Magic.
Magic: The Gathering recently featured card expansions for several popular franchises. These include Doctor Who, The Lord Of The Rings. The latter card boasts a unique “The One Ring that was purchased at a recent price of $2 million.
Wizards of the Coast, the publisher of the game, announced the news in a live stream. They confirmed that several expansions will be released for the game by the beginning of next year. Assassin’s Creed, Final Fantasy, and Fallout were all teased.
There is little information about what the expansion will contain, but if previous expansions are any indication, it may include booster packs and promo boxes that could have some special cards for your collection.
It’s great to see Fallout in other media than video games. This will hopefully bring a new audience into the fold. The Fallout television show will be released soon, and it appears to look fantastic.
The Fallout expansion to Magic: The Gathering will be released in the first quarter of 2024.
