Red Dead Redemption (and Undead Nightmare) coming this month to consoles modern
It’s true that one of the most popular video games ever is being ported.
It was thought that Red Dead Redemption Rockstar Games would be an entirely new remake, but we know now that this will only be a port. This is a little disappointing. Double Eleven is handling the port and it will come with Undead Nightmare.
Red Dead Redemption is coming to Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4 and will also be compatible with PS5. Red Dead Redemption is already available on Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PS4 but it was taken off PS4 in the past year.
The press release stated that ” Red Dead Redemption is the story of John Marston, a former outlaw who travels through the vast expanses in the American West and Mexico looking for the last members of Van der Linde Gang to try to save his wife and children.”
The 2018 blockbuster Red Dead Redemption 2,, allows you to relive or experience the story of loyalty and honor immediately after the epic tale. Marston is hunting down Bill Williamson and Javier Escuella as well as his former leader Dutch van der Linde as the age of the cowboy ends.
Press release: The next part of the press release reads, “Red Dead Redemption for Nintendo Switch and PS4 includes Undead Nightmare. This story expansion reimagines Red Dead Redemption’s world as Marston battles a zombie horde relentlessly and looks for a cure, in a supernatural twist to the Western genre.”
Red Dead Redemption & Undead Nightmare will arrive digitally for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on August 17, and the physical version will come out 13 October.
