Hayden Christensen reprises his role as Anakin Skywalker for the new Ahsoka Trailer
Star Wars Fans can rejoice. Hayden Christensen is reprising his role as Anakin Skywalker for the new Ahsoka Series.
The new trailer of the upcoming Star Wars series gave us an idea about what to expect from the Ahsoka release on Disney+ later this month.
It seemed to have something for everyone, with flashy lightsaber battles, live-action versions of Star Wars Rebels, and our first look at Admiral Thrawn as the villain. Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker gave Ahsoka some advice.
Ahsoka, as we know, was Anakin’s Padawan in the Star Wars The Clone Wars animation show. The duo split up in the last two seasons when Ahsoka quit the Jedi Order. She returned to The Republic briefly to fight Darth Maul during the final season. The Ahsoka and Maul storyline was set during Revenge of the Sith. This is when Anakin turned against the Jedi to become Darth Vader. He also helped The Empire gain power. In Star Wars Rebels they crossed paths once again, fighting and separating for the final time before the events in the original trilogy.
Anakin is likely to return, most likely in a form of a flashback, even though Ahsoka occurs several years after Rebels and the original trilogy. The fans have speculated if it will be Christensen as the voice of Ahsoka or Christensen himself in the Clone Wars.
He’s not his first return either. In Obi-Wan Kenobi, he played both a flashback of Anakin and a version of him during the training between the Jedi.
It’s only a matter of time before we know, but given their history and the way in which they lost touch, this episode is likely to be one that will make you cry.
