Halo Infinite will finally be out next month. While the main focus has been on multiplayer, 343 Industries hasn’t forgotten about single-player campaigns with the recent release Campaign Overview eliciting excitement and the unveiling of Jega as the new Halo Infinite boss.

We’ve seen many of the enemies Master Chief will face in Halo Infinite. These include The Banished who took over Zeta Halo and Atriox after the events of Halo Wars 2. War Chief Escharum is the second-in command of Atriox. But it seems like Jega is special. This was highlighted by IGN.

Jega ‘Rdomnai has been described as a red-plasma-sword-wielding elite and a member of the Spartan Killers, a group of powerful enemies who plan on cutting up Master Chief in more ways than one, but Jega seems to be more sadistic than his other teammates.

Paul Crocker, Creative Director, described Jega in Halo as one of most disturbing characters. Jeff Easterling, Narrative Writer, said that Jega would have a fascinating relationship with Escharum and teased a subtle partnership between them.

Jega is the main highlight, but the fact that there are Spartan Killers in Halo Infinite should make it one of the most interesting entries to the franchise for boss fights. It’s always cool to see Master Chief face an equal.

Halo Infinite will be available on the Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC starting December 8.
