343 Industries is still preparing post-launch content Halo Infinite. New maps will be a significant part of the sequel’s future.

According to Halo hub, the developer could be working on up to 10 maps for the sequel. These maps would be added to Infinite’s already impressive level collection sometime in the future.

343 Industries could be working on more than ten maps. The report does note that they won’t be able to hit all of them at once. They will likely reach the locations at different points during their postlaunch cycle. It remains to be determined what game modes and playlists these maps will be curated.

Big Team Battle allows you to roam free in larger areas like the Deadlock, Highpower, Fragmentation and Highpower. These smaller areas are home to tighter dogfights like Aquarius, Bazaar and Behemoth.

Halo Infinite has received the latest patch. This addresses longstanding performance problems and bugs. A patch that addressed connection issues, as well as desync-lagging, was released a few days ago. This patch also fixes matchmaking issues in Big Team Battles and heavy-vehicle spawning.
