DYING LIGHT 2: CROSSPLAY
Dying light 2 will be the biggest game of 2022, building upon the foundation of the original in terms of gameplay and worldbuilding.
Many questions about crossplay and how cross-platform support is at launch are common.
Crossplay in Dying Light 2 would be a welcome addition to the open-world game. It allows players to help one another regardless of their platform. Techland is implementing this feature in more and more games.
Dying Light 2 Crossplay
It’s not a feature that is most requested in online discussions. Dying Light 2 cross-platform support will not be available at launch on February 4, 2022.
In an interview with Wccftech, Tymon Smektala, Lead Game Designer, confirmed that this was the case.
“So, we will not implement this at the beginning but we are very closely looking at it and hopefully we will be able activate/introduce that later during the life-of the game,” Smektala stated.
You won’t play with other players on Dying Light 2 at launch due to the lack of Dying Light 2 Crossplay.
It’s encouraging to know that Dying Light 2 will be available on multiple platforms after launch.
Crossplay is a possibility. We hope it will happen soon. We will keep you updated on when and if that happens.
