Elden Ring has been hailed as one of the greatest video games ever made.
Elden Ring was not just the same challenging game that FromSoftware fans are used to, it also featured an open world filled with both wonder and horror. It encouraged players to explore each corner.
Elden Ring was developed by FromSoftware, the same studio that brought us the Dark Souls, Demon’s Souls, Bloodborne, and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice series. Some would say it is the culmination of their creative accomplishments. This notion may have been justified by The Game of the Year winning Elden Ring at the 2018 Game Awards.
It is only natural that, by the time it’s released in February of 2022, fans would be clamoring for more Elden Ring. The expansion ‘Shadow of the Erdtree,’ was announced almost one year after the initial release.
Unfortunately, at this point, there is no release date set for “Shadow of the Erdtree”, but we can all hope that the game will arrive by the year’s end or in early 2024. Our fingers are crossed.
Many gamers will not have had the opportunity to play Elden Ring despite its immense popularity. This is due to a variety of factors. If recent rumors are to be believed, Elden Ring may soon be coming to Xbox Game Pass.
Why do some believe that Elden Ring will be coming to Xbox Game Pass soon? Sarah Bond, Microsoft’s Vice President for Game Creator Experience, Ecosystem, and Community, tweeted this week a mysterious image that may have hinted at Elden Ring’s impending arrival to Microsoft’s subscription service.
Sarah Bond first tweeted an emoji of an old person holding a ring and an Xbox tag. Bond then followed with a second tweet featuring a FromSoftware rpg. Fans were in a frenzy, hoping that Elden Ring would be available on Xbox Game Pass.
